Vintage mid century, circa 1950-60, made in Italy Asian inspired very large ashtray. That kind of ashtray was made of ground alabaster or resin. They are charakterze by relief, hand painted scenes that resemble stone carvings. The interior of ashtray depicts a figural scene, reminiscent of religious motifs or orientał tales. Very good vintage condition, heavy.
